Warped Tour Voting and J Street
Warped Tour voting has ended and judging has begun. We'll let you know once they annouce the winners. Thanks for all the votes we got!

GATJA had a great time playing J Street with Gutterfish on May 19th. Angela and Tiffany had adventures trying to find chapstick, they wish they had the video camera to show you what happened. We got a chance to play with Gutterfish again on June 2nd along with Bad Acter. The radio station New Rock 104.1 hosted both shows with DJ's and live contests (ex. Female to Female Lapdance, Musical Chairs and Pie Eating). J Street is always great for a show, so come on down next time we are there and participate in a contest!

Acoustic Gig and more Warped Tour VOTING!
We had a great time at the acoustic gig at the Crossroads in Frenso, CA last night! We played with some other very talented musicians and would love to do it again. If you missed this show, you missed out! We'll be back with some more acoustic gigs in addition to our electric shows soon.

Happy New Year!

GATJA will be filming their new music videos for their songs "Resilient Butterfly" and "Filthy" this month (Jan. 2007). We'll be retiring from shows until Feburary 2007. Catch us again in Feburary!

Thanks to The Belmont, Lucky 13, Wizard Entertainment, On Deck Productions, the bands we played with and our fans! We had 2 great shows this week. We also had a good opening week of CD sales, but wait, the week isn't over yet! Pictures will be posted as soon as they are approved. Unfortunatly our show on Nov. 18th was cancelled due to the venue being sold. That's life.

GATJA on KRZR's Overnight Spotlight
GATJA did a live on air interview with Fresno's biggest rock station KRZR on Nov. 12 at 2am. This show was right after our show at the Belmont, so we had to hurry can help clean up The Belmont then head over to the station! We had lots of fun before, during and after the interview. GATJA Girls Night on the town
The GATJA Girls had a night out on the town on Wednesday. They went to a concert at The Belmont in Fresno, they promoted, they made connections, they passed out flyers for the upcoming presale of the new album. All in all it was a good night. Not to mention, they also hung out with Lauri, lead singer from The Rasmus. They also met Eero, bassist for The Rasmus. Big thanks to Lauri for helping GATJA do some promotion!

Battle for Manfest 2006

Album Update
We are almost done with the album. The artwork is all picked out, the songs are all mixed, we just need to put on the finishing touches before we send it out to production. Rumor has it, there may be a music video included on the new album done by Aftershock Productions!

First Gig Back
On Saturday we had our first gig back on the scene since our long recording break. We are still in the process of recording though. We had a great time playing at Harley's. There was a good crowd that really enjoyed us! We'd love to play there again in the near future.

Great Weekend
GATJA had 2 shows this weekend. Our first was in Tulare at good old J Street. We had a great time playing that night. Thanks to all the fans who came out to see us and a special thanks to Jeremy, the mysterious man in the green shirt. Thanks to all the people who kicked the old drunk guy out of the bar too, he was touching all the ladies!

Our next show was at the Avalon in Fresno. It was a battle of the bands put on by the local rock station KRZR. Five bands were playing that night, it was a little over booked, but we made it through just fine. We also had a great time that night because we were not worried about winning the votes, we just wanted to put on a great show and have fun. Angela, our singer, worked her magic and sold a few more stacks of CDs for us that night as well.

Manfest!!!
We played, and it was good! The sound system was not all that great, but oh well. We had a great time. Thanks for voting us in to play Manfest. Let's do it again next year.

Battle for Manfest
We played well despite the power failures and the random mics not working during the show. We all had a great time even though we did not win this battle, though it was close! We still have a chance at the Wildcard vote coming soon. It was a great night, we picked up many new fans and sold lots of cds! Thanks to all who came out and voted for GATJA!

Happy New Year!
We had a great time at our Jan. 14th gig at the Crossroads in Fresno. Even though Angie was sick we got through most of our set, only had to cut out two songs. Lets all hope Angie gets better in time for our next show that is a Battle of the Bands at the Avalon in Fresno!

Cancelled Gig
We had to cancel our Dec. 17th gig due to the bad fog in the central and south valley. We couldn't even see across the street at times during that night. Better to be alive to play music another day than to be dead in the fog...

Hmm...another night at the Avalon
Thanks again to who showed up at our Avalon gig on the 10th of July. We had a few set changes (5 bands, our set moved back a few spots) so some couldn't stay (including our photographer for the Fresno Bee), but all in all we had a good time. All the bands had to cut some songs out of their sets to accomodate for the 5th band that got put in the line up at the last minute.

Another Avalon Gig
Thanks again to whoever showed up to our gig at the Avalon. We were the third band on, after our set a transistor blew across the street from the club and we lost power. The last band didn't even get a chance to play, poor guys. We even had the singer from Soul Catcher come up and do the Evanescence cover with us. At our last gig we had the singer from Murder By Design grace our stage with his presence on that song. Don't miss us next time...the singer from Attraxxis is supposed to sing with us, then we put away Evanescence for good!

Avalon Gig

Thanks for coming out to our last few shows. It's been real busy. We have been having a show every week! Come see us on the 13th down in Bakersfield! We'll be rocking Vinny's Bar and Grill like no one has ever rocked it before, ha. After this gig, we shall resume a regular recording schedule.

A Quote to Remember...
I'd like to remeber the comment made by the sound lady to Angie at Club Fred last Saturday night, "If you want your vocal line to sound better, don't choke up on the ball." Don't get much better than that.

Once again we had a great time playing for everyone out at J Street Bar and Grill in Tulare on Friday the 13th! We met a new cool band called MyOpus. This is the first gig that we gave out FREE demos to whoever wanted them. Those things went fast! When people hear "FREE," they go for it.

If you were there you witnessed the awesome display of power as we momentarily knocked out the power supply half way through our newest song "Feed the Harlot." Mad-sick props to the short drunk dude who was moshing by himself...he was so potent that the Fresno P.D. had to come take him away (so long to our newest fan).
